Subsistence allowance

Subsistence allowance is a kind of contribution provided only for jobseekers participating in the Entership Pilot scheme.

This allowance, in the form of a top up fee, shall be granted whenever there is a proven difference between the trainee’s and apprentice’s actual salary and the average remuneration paid to any worker performing an equivalent function and level of responsibilities in the hosting country. The maximum authorized allowance cannot exceed EUR 600 per month up to a maximum of 6 months.

No financial support will be given to employers to finance the wages, social security or health insurance of the new workers or trainees.
